However, it’s worth noting that in December 2020, the singer faced legal issues. She was charged for allegedly shooting her childhood friend and reported boyfriend, Jonathon “Sandhills” Wright, on December 1, 2020, at the InterContinental in Buckhead, Atlanta.
Ann claimed that the gun accidentally fell off a table and discharged, striking Wright in the head. The victim, Jonathan Wright, was found with a gunshot wound to his forehead. The 28-year-old singer was later released on a $60,000 signature bond.
Moreover, there were conditions added to her bail, including wearing an ankle monitor, house arrest (except for approved work and legal obligations), no contact with the victim or his family, and a restriction from firearms.
