Jazmine Sullivan is a very talented and well-known soul singer, rapper, and hip-hop artist. She made her debut in 2008 with the album Fearless, which became decently famous and became the blueprint for her musical success.

Some of her most popular songs are Bust Your Windows, Need U Bad, and the most popular of them all, Herself, which has won several awards on different musical platforms.

Sullivan started her career as a singer by signing a good musical deal for Jive Records. Her talent was recognized, and she even recorded an entire album, however, it was never released, which left her feeling disappointed.

To this day, she has released three albums and one EP, which has landed her the pinnacle of female rapper and Hip-Hop singer.

She finally released her first album, titled Fearless, in 2008 through J Records, which got a decent review from music experts and critics.

After scraping her first music album. she met with music producer Missy Elliott who motivated her not to lose hope and helped her polish the new album.


The album consisted of twelve tracks, and she also released the “Deluxe Version,” which consisted of three additional songs. The album debuted in no six on the Billboard 200 as it sold just less than 70,000 copies in the first week.

Some of the most popular songs from the albums are Need U Bad, Lions, Tigers, and Bears, One Night Stand, Call Me Guilty, and more.

Jazmine Sullivan’s second album made some fans unhappy

After coming off her debut musical album, Sullivan released her second album, Love Me Back, in 2010The second album consisted of eleven tracks and two more bonus tracks as an iTunes bonus track and a Japan bonus track.


It did a little less than her debut album as it sold over 55,000 copies in the first week and landed at number 17 in the official Billboard 200.

Some of the most popular from her second album were the title track Love Me Black, Holding You Down, 10 Seconds, Excuse Me, etc.

After the release of the album, it did receive a good review; however, some fans were not happy with the happy melody instead of fast adrenaline-pumping music, which became popular on her first album.


Jazmine Sullivan released her third studio album after five years 

After the decent success of her second album, Sullivan took a lengthy break from releasing any studio album. However, she kept appearing as a cameo or guest artist for other singers.

She finally released her third studio album Reality Show in 2015. The album consisted of eleven tracks with one bonus track as it debuted at no 12 on the Billboard 200, selling over 30,000 copies in the first week.


The album was heavily praised worldwide, and her fans liked how she went back to her roots and made it similar to her debut album.

Jazmine Sullivan’s last album became her best to date

After six years of hiatus, Sullivan released her fourth album and first-ever EP titled Heaux Tales, which became insanely popular among music critics.

The songs consisted of five songs and five interludes, making it ten song albums that received several awards, including the Best Album award in the BET awards show and the Soul Train Awards function.


Furthermore, the album won the Best R&B award category in the Grammy Awards show, which showcased how loved and adored the album was.
