Colman and Sinclair’s first encounter happened while both the pair were undergraduates at Cambridge University. Like in the movies, she says she fell in love at first sight and knew he was the one.
They were in their early twenties at that time and immediately clicked. After dating for a couple of years, they decided to make it official.

Colman also said she finds it hard to sleep when her husband and kids aren’t around. She mentioned how homesick she gets when she has to be away due to work.

Colman gave birth to her first child in the fourth year of their marriage, a son named Finn Sinclair, in 2005. Two years later, Finn’s brother was born, who was named Hall Sinclair.
In 2015, the pair gave birth to a daughter; however, details about her are kept exclusively private. Not just her, all their children are kept away from the public eye, mostly a privacy thing.
Some paparazzi have spotted the pair with their children hanging out in public, but the children’s pictures are mostly blurred. They maintain complete privacy so that their kids’ personal life doesn’t get evaded due to their celebrity status.
